Operation Border Health Preparedness (OBHP)
OBHP is a training exercise that the VET conducts in Raymondville, TX in Willacy County, one of the poorest counties in Texas.  The VET gives free initial care to dogs and cats to residents of the county while also training the volunteers on how to help when the team gets deployed to a natural disaster.
VET Briefings
The VET takes 4th year vet students, as part of their rotations, to different Texas counties to help them design disaster plans for the animals in their counties. The VET also meets before each deployment to help with a disaster.
